The world of country music was introduced to the great Jean Shepard in the 1950's.

Her first chart topping hit was the 1953 duet smash with Ferlin Husky 'A Dear John Letter', and what followed was six decades of the finest country music in history. Through the 1960's and on into the 1970's, Jean built a career that would be the envy of hundreds of other artists. And perhaps most of all, this lady never waivered on her belief in country music. Real country music.

Now in her early 80's, the Grand Ole Opry legend says, well, enough is enough.

In an interview Jean is brutally honest about the current state of country music (ugh), the Grand Ole Opry and country music in general. Plus, some great memories! And she says it's just about all over.
