Yes, there have been some great Halloween themed songs through the years. And right about this time of year we blow the dust of them (OK, they're all in computers now but hey...let's keep the imagination alive here!) and give them an annual spin.

But the best of all?

My vote goes to the late great country music legend Buck Owens.

'(It's A) Monster's Holiday' has it all. Not only is it flat out plain fun to crank up, it names virtually every monster in the book! You can literally see Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney. Heck, it's so much fun, you can see Herman Munster, Lilly, Grandpa and Eddie, too!

Come to think of it, when the little ghost's and goblin's come knocking on your door this Halloween, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have Buck and the boys singing '(Its A) Monster's Holiday' on the front porch!
