Worker on Building Project at SDSU Dies in Fall

BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) — The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the death of a masonry worker in a fall on the South Dakota State University campus.

KELO-TV reports that Joey McKenzie died Wednesday while on the job with Bittner Masonry, a subcontractor for Sioux Falls Construction on the Architecture, Mathematics and Engineering Building project.

Work on the project has ceased pending the OSHA investigation.
