Rural America plays a very important role in the everyday life of all people in this country. It only makes sense that it is included in Friday's huge festivities of the Presidential Inauguration Day.

Farmers will be clearly represented in the inaugural parade for President-elect Donald Trump in Washington on Friday.

The Tractor Brigade will be a notable segment in the parade. Several agricultural organizations as well as brands of tractors will be involved.

Members of the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) and representatives of the American Farm Bureau Federation, U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance, National Pork Producers Council, American Soybean Association (ASA) and the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) will take part.

The Rural Tractor Brigade is part of RFD-TV’s “continuing effort to reconnect city with country,” and will feature equipment from Case IH, Challenger, John Deere, Kioti, Kubota, Mahindra, Massey-Ferguson and New Holland.

This year’s parade is themed “We the People: Our American Journey” and will be broadcast live on CNN, Fox News and MSNBC beginning at 2:00 PM Central on Friday.

Rural America played a big part of this election. And it will be a driving force in American life as we move forward.
