Warrants Issued for South Dakota Man Convicted in Horse Case

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — Pennington County authorities are searching for a man convicted of neglecting horses and sentenced to five years in jail.

Donald Harwood and his wife, Terri, were sentenced Oct. 9 at a hearing they did not attend. The Rapid City Journal reports that authorities have issued four warrants for Harwood including one for failing to comply with the sentence.

Harwood is believed to be in the Rapid City or Box Elder areas.
