There are so many great heart warming traditional Christmas songs. The most beautiful of those are the one's we sang along with in church.

"Away In A Manger", "Silent Night", "O, Little Town Of Bethlehem", "Little Drummer Boy" and on and on. We'd sing along to all of them in church on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

But here's one that we didn't sing along with all those many years ago. It came out several years ago, written by Don Cook, Curley Putnam and Keith Whitley. It's been recorded by a number of great artist's, including Kathy Mattea and Trisha Yearwood, along with many others.

Here, Alan Jackson and Keith Whitley have a beautiful duet. Along with the stirring images, this is one Christmas song that doesn't fall into the "traditional" category, but as the years continue to go by, it will.

You see, "There's a New Kid in Town...and he's lying in a manger down the road..."
