Almost as quickly as one golf season ends, another begins.
Just 18 days separate the 2012-13 and 2013-14 PGA Tour seasons, which means if you blink - you miss it!
The 2012-13 season ended with Henrik Stenson's win at the Tour Championship in Atlanta last month. He walked away with a $10 million paycheck.

During that tiny break between seasons, some of the best golfers in the world squeezed in the President's Cup in Ohio, with the U.S. winning 18 1/2 to 15 1/2.
Overall a good showing for the Fred Couples captained American squad, which featured Tiger Woods going 4-1 in his matches:
And just like that, golf is back.
The Frys.com Open tees off this week, and with it, a new PGA Tour season is underway. But with the new season upon us so soon, many of the top players are skipping the first six weeks of the schedule:
There is a definite end to the golf season in South Dakota, and it comes this weekend with the South Dakota Golf Association's Mid-Amateur Tournament at Dakota Dunes:
So with a few months of not being able to get out on the golf course staring us in the face, what can we do golf-wise this off-season in the upper Midwest?
