Sioux Falls area Tea Party Raises Funds for Foster Kids Summer Camp

A lively group of ladies and girls enjoyed a fun tea party last Saturday to raise funds for foster children to attend The Royal Family Kids Camp in Minnehaha County this summer.

Royal Family Kids Camp is exclusively for foster kids.  South Dakota was one of the last states to establish a camp, but that changed last summer with 38 kids attending the inaugural camp.  Directors have expanded the number to 44 this year, but unfortunately some foster kids will likely be turned away once the camp is full.

Foster kids attend the week long camp absolutely free where they're treated likely royalty, encouraged to dream for their future and participate in events to boost their self esteem and discover their self worth.
