Some refer to it as "Sewer City" but almost everyone who has traveled through Iowa's fourth largest city has commented on "that smell" they can't seem to get rid of.

With enough complaints and comments, the Sioux City city council is weighing their options on a better smelling city. One of those options is a new filter that would cut hydrogen sulfide levels - the rotten egg smell - before it's sent into the Missouri River.

Enviro ESI, a local company, says they can solve the odor issue. Now, it's up to the city council whether they want to spend the money.

Perhaps they can dip into that bazillion dollar mountain of cash raked in from those I-29 speed cameras hidden within the 30-year construction project.
