Ronnie Milsap (along with the legendary Mac Wiseman and one of the greatest songwriters in country music history Hank Cochran) was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame this year.

While I made the argument that Ronnie should have been inducted more than a decade ago and was for some reason being robbed by not being in the hallowed hall, turned out he wasn't robbed, just delayed for whatever reason.

With that being said, who (if anyone) should be in the next class of Country Music Hall of Fame inductee's?

Here are four that I feel deserve to be honored with Hall of Fame induction's:

Just look at the numbers for this incredible group: Nearly twenty #1 hits, over thirty Top 20 hit's, several Country Music Association and Academy Of Country Music Awards, not to mention five Grammy's and eight Dove Awards for their work in Gospel Music.  All this while maintaining a level of professionalism that so many other's should aspire to.  It's time Joe, Duane, Richard and William Lee take their deserved place in the Hall.

Not only an incredible career, but an incredible life.  The son of the man many revere as the greatest name and artist in the history of Country Music, Bocephus has carved out his own Hall of Fame career separate from his legendary father while managing to honor him at the same time (it would seem to me, no easy feat).  Forty or so Top 10 hits, a bunch of number one's, Entertainer of the Year for both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music, all the while maintaining his own unique identity and sound.  Hank Jr. kicked down a lot of doors and invited millions into country music and the time has come for this great artist to join his dad and the other great names in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

For a while in the 1970's Crystal Gayle was known as Loretta Lynn's little sister.  For a very short while!  From her first Top Ten hit (1974's 'Wrong Road Again'), through her signature smash (1977's 'Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue') and on to about thirty Top 10 hits, include nearly twenty #1's, Crystal established herself as one of the greatest voices in Country Music history.  Always proud of her sister, Crystal nonetheless became, not Loretta's sister, but a Superstar in her own right.  It's time to recognize one of country music's greatest voices, greatest artist's, and induct Crystal Gayle into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The number's alone make Alan Jackson a sure-fire Country Music Hall of Famer and it should be in 2015.  From his first major hit in 1990 'Here In The Real World', Alan has never stopped.  Twenty Five years later, he has amassed nearly fifty (that's right, fifty!) Top Ten hits, including of course the song that helped heal a nation after the devastation of 9-11.  But here's the most beautiful part to me: He's kept it always real country.  Alan has always loved the steel guitar, the fiddle....and traditional country music.  Maintaining that integrity, he continues to release hit after hit after hit.  And that may, ironically, be the reason he isn't in the Hall of Fame yet!  But he deserves to be, and in 2015.
