Rita Coolidge Will Write Her Life Story

(AP) - Rita Coolidge has signed a deal to write her life story.

Coolidge will publish a book called "Delta Lady" through Harper Collins next year. She will give the dish on her marriage to Kris Kristofferson as well as relationships with Graham Nash, Stephen Stills and Leon Russell, plus her friendship with Joe Cocker.

Rita and Kris released duet albums and singles in the 1970's.  Below they sing the classic that Kris wrote, 'Me and Bobby McGee'.
