Powerball Lottery Ticket Sold in Rapid City worth $50,000

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — A Powerball ticket sold in Rapid City is worth $50,000 in the latest drawing.

South Dakota lottery officials say the ticket matched four of five white ball numbers and the Powerball to win the game's third prize in Saturday's drawing. The winning numbers are 5, 6, 15, 29 and 42, the Powerball is 10 and the Power Play is 2.

The odds of winning Powerball's third prize are 1 in about 913,000. Winners have about six months to claim their prize.

Powerball is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The jackpot is at $400 million for the next drawing, on Wednesday.
