Well, right at the top you'd have to also mention Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton.

Both are, of course, members of the Country Music Hall of Fame on their own and gave us some of the most beautiful country music ever.  They began together back in the day when the female part of a duo would be called 'the girl singer'.

Well, as she would prove over the years, while Dolly was certainly a fine 'girl singer', she had plans beyond being Porter's duet partner.

And so, yes, there was a feud. And one that lives in country music legend.
