Police Discover Active Meth Lab While Serving Search Warrant in Sioux Falls
SIOUX FALLS - While serving a warrant at a residence in the 1900 block of South Bahnson Avenue, authorities discovered a meth lab.
On Tuesday the Sioux Falls Drug Task Force seized numerous active one-pot meth labs, along with approximately 20 used ones, chemicals, gas generators, methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and marijuana. The task force was assited by Sioux Falls Fire Rescue Haz-Mat team and the Rural Metro Ambulance service.
Dale Shogren was arrested at the residence and transported to the Minnehaha County jail. He faces charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a residence where drugs are used/stored, drug free zone violation, causing a child to be present where methamphetamine is used/stored, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested at was Jennifer Leffring. She faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, inhabiting a place where drugs are used/stored, and causing a child to be present where drugs are used/stored.
