PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — A Pierre woman says she didn't set out to have seven dogs. But ever since her first Weimaraner, she's fallen in love with the breed.

Brenda Manning and husband Kyle are well-known around South Dakota's capital city for their love of the dog.

They started helping so many of the dogs that they needed a vehicle big enough to hold them all. So they bought a used bus, painted it with paw prints on the outside and use it to transport the dogs that have been discarded or treated poorly by previous owners.

The Capital Journal reports that the breed is popular among hunters, so the dogs are fairly common in the area.

They call the vehicle the "Weim Time" bus.
