Minnesota Man Jailed After Sioux Falls Incidents. Robbery, Kidnapping, DWI Among Them.
A man whose last known address was Hills, Minnesota is in the Minnehaha County Jail on a list of charges after an incident around 8:40 pm Sunday.
Police were called to a report of a vehicle crash at 26th and Minnesota, but when they arrived they were told a suspect had run north from the scene.
The suspect was then seen assaulting a motorist in a parking lot near 24th and Minnesota, where he reportedly stole a car and assaulted an adult female still in the vehicle as he drove away.
Police say the man swerved at several police cars and then crashed a few blocks away.
He ran from the scene but was located in a garage where he was arrested by police and K-9 units.
Police say 36-year-old Jeremy Albers was arrested for aggravated assault, robbery, kidnapping, vehicle theft and DWI.
