The Sanford Pentagon is set to host another huge D-1 basketball game this winter.

Minnesota and Oklahoma State will meet for the first time in 29 years on December 12, 2015 at the Sanford Pentagon. The game has been officially confirmed by the Minnesota Gophers.

In the official press release sent out by Minnesota, coach Richard Pitino says that the past games at the Pentagon made the decision to play a game in Sioux Falls easy.

"When the Sanford Pentagon approached us about playing a game, we jumped at the opportunity because of past experiences with other teams and how much they have raved about the facility. It is run in a first-class way and something we wanted to be a part of.”

Tickets go on sale July 3 at 11 AM at ticketmaster.com and the Pentagon box office.

The Pentagon will also host Iowa State and Colorado in November.
