The City of Sioux Falls and SMG are looking for local, talented performers to entertain the public during free community open houses at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. The open houses are scheduled for Friday, September 19, and Saturday, September 20.

“These free open houses will be the public’s chance to see the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center complete for the very first time,” says Mayor Mike Huether. “Local performers will show their stuff and play a big part in the historic opening of our new Events Center.”

To express interest in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, performers should visit www.dennysanfordpremiercenter.com or www.siouxfalls.org/eventscenter and submit an application. A variety of live entertainment is being sought, including musicians, comedians, actors, and more. All submissions will be considered. SMG will contact those who have been chosen to perform. The deadline to apply is Friday, August 15.

The grand opening of the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center is scheduled for Friday, October 3, with Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line. A series of soft opening activities, including public open houses, will lead up to the grand opening concert. Details on all grand opening events will be released at a later date.
