You may think that the idea of a Zombie Apocalypse might be far-fetched, but even the folks at the Centers for Disease Control have been talking about it now for more than a decade, of course with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

But the conversation that the CDC started has now been picked up by the folks at Lawn Love, who ranked the 200 biggest cities in America in six key areas to see which are the best prepared when the zombies come calling.

Overall, South Dakota's largest city is 105th out of the 200 cities on the list, but one number really tanked with city's ranking.

It came in the 'Mobility' category, which factors in things like hiking and biking options for escape, as well as access to camping. Sioux Falls has no real deficiencies in those areas, but when it came to accessing ports and marinas we were in trouble, as the city's ranking tumbled to 183rd.

That more than offset top 45 rankings for Sioux Falls in categories like 'Public Health', 'Supplies', and 'Infrastructure'.
