Here we are in the heart of Winter. Monday morning the outside air temperature was 8 degrees below zero. Then the wind makes it feel like 30 below.

What is the coldest temperature you have experienced in your life? What were you doing out there in the first place?

Maybe your job requires it. Or maybe your hobby puts you out there.

Things like snowmobiling, hunting and ice fishing can make you want to be out where it's not fit for man or beast.

Personally, I really liked Friday's story better. But, having the temperature change by nearly 60 degrees in just a few days, takes some serious adjusting.

I was curious as to how cold it can really get, so I did some research. I found that the lowest temperature ever recorded in U.S. history was 80 below zero at Jim River, Alaska in 1971.
