Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether talked about the city's solid revenue growth during his State of the City address on Thursday at Carnegie Town Hall.

"This town is fiscally sound.  For now, we are experiencing solid revenue growth.  We manage our financials very prudently.  I am very proud to announce we have one unbelievable reserve fund. "

Mayor Huether says the city continues to move forward!

"If you look at the value of our taxable property in Sioux Falls, it's never been this high before.  If you can only imagine the construction activity going on right now won't even show up pn these numbers until 2013 and 2014.  Even though we are experiencing record numbers right now, this is only the beginning,"

Mayor Huether says the city ranks 9th strongest local economy in the United States.
