PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — The Governor's Office of Economic Development and a dozen communities will promote South Dakota next month during the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas.

Gov. Dennis Daugaard says the Jan. 14-17 SHOT Show is an excellent opportunity for state and local officials to connect with companies and tell them about the benefits of doing business in South Dakota.

Representatives from Aberdeen, Black Hills Power of Rapid City, Chamberlain, Glacial Lakes Area Development, Huron, Madison, Mitchell, Mobridge, North Sioux City, Pierre, Rapid City, Sturgis and Watertown will be on hand.

GOED has attended the SHOT Show for the past 13 years. It attracts businesses from all 50 states and more than 100 countries.
