Fundraiser for Amelia Phoenix

We are hosting a Pampered Chef Party/Fundraiser. There will also be a silent auction in between demonstrations to raise funds for Fundraising for Amelia Phoenix. A portion of all sales will be donated to the Amelia Phoenix Fund to help raise money for the NICU in which she was born, lived, and died. These funds will help for the purchase of NICU (Giraffe Omni) beds for all babies that require extensive care in the NICU at Avera McKennan Hospital. Please join us either in person, online, or through catalog to help make a difference in the lives of many families.

There is a baby born every 10 minutes around the world.
Half of these children will not survive
and the other half face lifetime health problems.

Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH)
is a condition where the diaphragm fails to fully form
during the first trimester of pregnancy and
allows abdominal organs to herniate into the chest cavity.
This causes the lungs to be severely under developed.

Amelia Phoenix Winthers was born to
Dylan & Amber Winthers on
11/11/2013. She was a light of hope
to all who came into contact with her
and still continues to be after her
passing on 11/17/2013 due to complications with CDH
The funds raised by the Amelia Phoenix Fund
will be donated to the new Avera Mckennan NICU
to purchase Giraffe OmniBeds; a necessity in caring for all critical newborns.

These Giraffe OmniBeds are an all in one care station that can covert from
a full incubator to a warmer with the touch of a button
as the child's needs change.

This helps reduce the
stress to the baby and increase
contact between the parents and child.

Amelia spent all 6 days of her life being cared for
in one of these beds.
