OK, if you were a young 'un back in the 50's and 60's, you remember the great cartoons that have now become classic's.

Mickey Mouse.  Mighty Mouse.  Popeye. Quick Draw McGraw (and Baba Looey!).  Foghorn Leghorn.

And then, of course, there were the duck's.  You had Daffy and you had Donald.  Picking a favorite?  Well, while I imagine Donald is the more famous (Disney, after all!), Daffy wasn't too shabby either!

I didn't realize that daffy Duck was born (or introduced if you will) back in 1937.  It was in a cartoon short called 'Porky's Duck Hunt' and starred, of course, Porky Pig.  But apparently Daffy made enough of an impression in his first role that he went on to become a cartoon star in his own right.

Through these many decades Daffy has teamed with so many of the Looney Tunes characters, but perhaps is best and most fondly remembered with Bugs Bunny...and of course Elmer Fudd!  He may have had some new 'voices', but for those of us of a 'certain age', Daffy will always be remembered as voiced by perhaps the greatest voice legend of all time, Mel Blanc.

So let's take a few minutes and go back, back, back...with the cartoon legend that is Daffy Duck!
