LEAD, S.D. (AP) — The Lawrence County coroner has attributed the cause of death of a Lead woman to exposure.

The Rapid City Journal reports that the body of 51-year-old Roiann Baird was found shortly after dawn on Monday in a snow-covered parking lot near the Lead-Deadwood High School. Temperatures were near freezing overnight prior to the morning Baird's body was found.

An autopsy was performed Wednesday.

Coroner Marty Goetsch says authorities do not believe any suspicious activity led to Baird's death. He says a head wound she had sustained did not cause her death.

Baird was the assistant librarian in Lead and had worked at the public library for about 18 months.
