RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — A Goodwill thrift store in Rapid City was targeted by a burglar over the weekend.

The Rapid City Journal reports that the store's windows were smashed and a safe with undisclosed cash was stolen late Saturday.

Police are studying surveillance video from the business that sells used clothing, furniture, housewares and other items. Goodwill uses profits to help needy people in the community.

Store Manager Joanie Rhode says the incident left her outraged. She says the first thing that came into her head when she saw what the burglar had done was, "shame on you."
