Over the weekend, beer was literally falling from the sky in South Africa.

Thirsty revelers at a huge outdoor music festival, called Oppikoppi, didn't have to wait in line to get a frothy beverage.

Instead, concert organizers enlisted a South African company to create a beer delivering drone.

How it worked is concert goers would place their order using a smart phone app that sent their GPS location to a drone.

The drone would then fly a plastic cup full of beer to them, dropping it with a parachute from 15 feet above.

Quoting one concert goer,

This is awesome, man!

Adding to the incredible appeal - all the beer at the festival was free!
