ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) — A Walmart store in the northeastern South Dakota city of Aberdeen was closed for more than hour after receiving a bomb threat.

Aberdeen police tell KELO-TV that someone called the store shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday and said an explosive device was hidden inside the store.

Officials evacuated the store while investigators tried to locate a bomb, but they determined the threat to be unfounded. The store was reopened by 6:30 p.m.

Police say they will investigate to find out who made the phone call.
