If you like your sausages with a little bit of heat it looks like ALDI stores may have just the thing for you.

ALDI is launching a new product called the 'Specially Selected Ghost Chili Sausages'.

The 'not so cool' thing about this brat like sausage is that it contains the Bhut Jolokia also known as the Ghost Pepper or Ghost Chili. The Ghost Pepper is about 417 times hotter than a Jalapeno.

There are two ALDI stores in Sioux Falls but it doesn't look like we'll be able to buy the high heat sausages here anytime soon.

The Specially Selected Ghost Chili Sausages will be available throughout Briton starting February 22.

To give you some perspective on how hot these mighty meet tubes will be, a Jalapeno Pepper has 2,500 to 8,000 heat units on the Scoville Scale. The Ghost Pepper comes in around 1,000,000 heat units. According to the Guinness Book of World Records it's one of the hottest peppers in the world!

Aldi says the Specially Selected Ghost Chili Sausages are made with Freedom Food Accredited 100 percent British pork.
