Aberdeen House Fire Injures Man; Cause Not Immediately Known

ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in Aberdeen that appears to have injured a man.

The American News reports that firefighters pulled the man from the home Tuesday night, and he was taken from the scene by ambulance. The extent of his injuries wasn't known.

Neighbors reported the fire shortly after 7 p.m. Neighbors also tried to enter the home before firefighters arrived but were stopped by heavy smoke.
