Is 'real' country music dead? The good news is a resounding 'NO!'

While the rocker's in country are staying away from country (not enough money in it?), there is phenomenally good country music being recorded and released!

Just over the past month's we've been playing great country songs by artists like Debbie Cochran, Monte Good, Gord Bamford, Rosanne Cash, Randy Travis, Marianne Allison, Ray Price, The Cains Trio and so many more.

One of our favorite's is Aaron Watson, and he's coming to Sioux Falls March 5, 2015 at The District.Tickets are just $10 in advance, $15 day of the show.

And be listening for your chance to win tickets to the show here on KXRB. Plus, Aaron will join Randy McDaniel live on the 'McDaniel Mess' Friday February 20th at 4:30 P.M.

He's a great artist, give a listen to his new single 'That Look', which we're playing now at KXRB AM 1000 and KXRB.com.

You may remember Aaron from his other recent hit, a great song that we were so proud to feature prominently on KXRB and KXRB.com, 'July in Cheyenne'.

So when you tune into a station and wonder why something that sounds like Guns n Roses is being played on a 'country' station, remember this: There is real good country music being recorded by an array of extremely talented artist's and the pendulum always swings back.
