Eileen White was angry for years asking God 'why me' after being diagnosed with five mental disorders.

"I was very angry because I had plans for my life.  Mental illness was not included in my plans.  It basically stopped my life for about thirty years.  I was so depressed at times I couldn't get out of bed. I wouldn't be able to get up and go to work for weeks at a time.

Eileen did not want to die.  But, she did not want to live.  Suicide was always on her mind.  "I had a couple of over doses.  I wasn't trying to klll myself.  I just wanted to go to sleep.  I couldn't deal with anything anymore.  That's how I ended up in the hospital the first time."

As a last resort, Eileen agreed to undergo electric shock treatments which lifted the depression that was hovering over her.
