A Dad’s Dying Wish
A father's dying wish - granted by his son - and a high school in Hoschton, Georgia.
Tony Tran was looking forward to seeing his son David graduate this coming May.
But before school started came the news - the former soldier and POW had terminal liver cancer and only a month or two to live.
Tony's son, David.
He's a strong guy, he just works really hard and is someone I look up to.
David's sister, Kim, contacted the school and told them the story. And a plan was hatched - they would hold an early graduation ceremony complete with caps, gowns and a full auditorium.
I looked at my Dad and I started crying. It's something I'll never forget.
A very special moment for father and son, with hopefully more to come.
Who knows, he might still be here. I sure do hope.
