OK, confession time for me. I'm not a huge Taylor Swiftfan...and I know I am one of the few on the planet.

Now my Granddaughter Hailey? Well, that's a different story. She loves Taylor Swift and at 8 years old can sing along with most of her songs. And judging from this Associated Press story, Taylor is a great role model for her.

(AP) - We hear all the time about celebrities doing something bad. This time it's about doing something good.

Taylor Swift leads the list of the "Top 20 Celebrities Gone Good," as chosen by DoSomething.org, the group that calls for teens to make positive changes in their communities.

DoSomething.org notes Swift gave $4 million to the Country Hall of Fame Museum and worked with young people battling cancer. Miley Cyrus is second on the list, followed by actor Channing Tatum, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and "Good Morning America" host Robin Roberts.

So, while Grandpa doesn't necessarily know all of Taylor's songs and doesn't have Taylor cranked up loud in the car, if Hailey wants to like her, that's fine with me. It's nice to have someone in the entertainment business that gives back.

So Hailey, go ahead...sing along...and make it loud so your Dad and Mom can hear you in the other room!
