Where Are the Easter Egg Hunts and Carnivals in Sioux Falls?
Easter is Sunday, April 16. Several Easter egg hunts and carnivals are planned to celebrate the holiday. Here's a list of events that are going on in Sioux Falls.
Easter Bunny at the Empire Mall
The Easter Bunny will be at the Empire Mall from March 24 through April 15. If you'd like your kids' picture taken with the Easter Bunny, it costs $10 and that will be put towards your purchase of a Bunny photo package. To schedule an appointment, click here.
Kory Davis Experience Easter Egg Hunt and Visit from the Easter Bunny
When: Saturday, April 8 - 10:00 AM
Where: Journey Elementary School Park, 6801 S. Grange.Bring your baskets and search for Easter eggs. Find the golden egg and win one of two bicycles. Bring your camera because the Easter Bunny will be there for photo ops with your kids from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM. There will be over 2,200 Easter eggs to find.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
When: Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 10:00am-12:00PM
Where: Southern Hills United Methodist Church, 3400 East 49th Street in Sioux Falls.
Enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny which will include games, crafts, puppet show, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and a big Easter egg hunt.
Allen Edge 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 PM
Where: Bakker Park - 6201 W. 61st Street, Sioux Falls. (61st and Holbrook)
The Allen Edge Real Estate Team and Lewis Drug are hosting the annual egg hunt for kids. The park will be filled with thousands of eggs. There will be prizes like a bike, Wild Water West season pass, gift cards and more. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance. Bring a basket. Free-will donations will be accepted for Feeding South Dakota. Please bring non-perishable food items to donate. For each bag filled with food, you'll be entered to win a prize.
Phillips Avenue Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt
When: Saturday, April 15, 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Where: Cookie Jar Eatery, 230 S. Phillips Ave., Sioux Falls.
Families can explore the shops on Phillips Avenue while collecting candy filled Easter eggs. Groups start every 15 minutes. There's no charge to participate.
Each registered child will receive an Easter tote to collect eggs and a candy filled egg from each participating business!
Registration: Tickets are reserved by starting time. Please come any time during your ticket start time to begin your scavenger hunt. Each child attending must have an Eventbrite ticket for the session time they are attending.
Operation Addy Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 12:00 PM
Where: Izaak Walton, 5000 North Oakview Place, Sioux Falls.
There will be an Easter egg hunt plus free grilled hot dogs, chips, soda and cookies. There will also be a special section for kids with disabilities.
Operation Addy was created to help people in the local community. They always accept donations of Diapers/wipes, all baby items. clothes and kitchen items.J and L Harley Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10:00AM - 11:00 AM.
Where: J & L Harley Davidson, 2601 West 60th Street North in Sioux Falls.
There will be two separate hunts, one for the children ages 0-3 and one for the children ages 4-12.
Easter Egg Scramble
When: Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Where: Crosswalk Community Church, 6101 S. Mogen Ave. in Sioux Falls.
There will be 10,000 eggs filled with LOTS of candy and and 5 hunts. Grand prize tags are hidden in the eggs for each hunt - find one, and your child can redeem it for a special prize. Plus, there will be refreshments and game stations as well.

Where: Brandon Valley Middle School
The Brandon Edge will be offering a FREE Easter Egg hunt for kids up to 9 years old. There is no registration and no tickets needed. There will be balloon creations, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and a chance to win an awesome Easter basket! Bring your camera and a basket or bag to collect your eggs.
2 years old and under - 10:00 am
3-4 years old - 10:05 am
5-6 years old - 10:10 am
7-9 years old - 10:15 amAll ages are welcome to attend the event, however, the ages listed above are who will be allowed to participate in the actual hunt.
Zion Lutheran Church Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 15 at 10:00 AM
Where: Zion Lutheran Church, 1400 S. Duluth.
Everyone is invited. A family-friendly event that includes an Easter story time, refreshments, treats and of course, thousands of Easter eggs filled with candy.
Ashbury United Methodist Church Easter Egg Hunt
When: Sunday, April 16, 2017, 10:15 AM - 11:15 AM
Where: Ashbury United Methodist Church, 2425 S. Western Ave.
There will be a free Easter egg hunt at the church.
