The major delivery companies let us know the date when we can mail Christmas gifts to loved ones in a timely fashion.

Lately across the country, mail deliveries and postage services in general have been slower than usual. Unfortunately, this situation does not look like it will improve anytime soon.

If you want it delivered on time for Christmas you better box it up, tape it up, have enough postage and get it mailed now.

So much for that 2 cent decrease back in April 2016. According to USPS.com, the price of a first class stamp will increase this Sunday.

The United States Postal Service is asking all homeowners to make sure their sidewalks and driveways are clear of snow and ice between now and Christmas.
