The Sioux Falls Marathon takes place in late September this year, and event planners anticipate another big event showcasing what our great city has to offer.

The Sioux Falls Sports Authority and the Denny Sanford Premier Center are hosting US Olympic Curling Team Trials this November in a first-of-its-kind event here in Sioux Falls this November.

From November 7th through the 16th of 2025, Sioux Falls and the Premier Center will play host to the 2025 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for both Men and Women. The event will also include the U.S. Paralympic Team trials for Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling.

Runners have the option to participate in the Miracle 5K or Half Marathon races.

The Sioux Falls Marathon is rapidly approaching, and runners will be putting their best foot forward on Sunday, August 25th.

The Sioux Falls Marathon will benefit Sanford Children’s Hospital/Children’s Miracle Network.

Registration is now open for the full marathon, half marathon, and 5K. All events will begin and finish at Howard Wood Field.

Sioux Falls Sports Authority will present the inaugural Sioux Falls Boxing Classic at The District on Thursday, December 1st.
