Thanks to one Sioux Falls Police Officer going above and beyond the call of duty, one person is waking up warmer today

A Sioux Empire woman appears to have lost her life Sunday as a result of the extreme cold conditions that have blanketed the Sioux Falls area these past few days.

It's a new frosty look for this South Dakota winter!

The extreme cold is forcing another day of late starts and cancellations for area schools.
