Springing ahead always kicks me in the butt. We lose an hour of sleep and it will be dark when my alarm goes off. It will take several weeks to get used to Daylight Saving Time.

Before you go to bed Saturday night, March 11, you'll want to turn your clocks ahead one hour. The official time change happens at 2:00 AM Sunday, March 12.

There is one good thing about "springing ahead" and that is there will be an extra hour of daylight at the end of the day. When the temps get warmer, we'll want to spend more time outside after work.

Most of Arizona and Hawaii don't recognize Daylight Saving Time.

Here's a sunrise/sunset calendar. It will tell you what time the sun will rise and set each day. It looks like my sleep pattern will be back to normal around April 12.
