Police Captain Loren McManus says a Sioux Falls man was caught with drugs in his possession on Thursday.

"An individual was in a local business when an employee happened to walk by him. The employee noticed a bag that looked suspicious to her. It may have been narcotics. She wasn't sure. But, the individual took the time to call us. By the time officers got there---the subject was still there. Officers spoke with him and found out he did have meth and marijuana with him. He also had drug paraphernalia and outstanding warrants against him as well."

McManus says the 52-year-old man faces a number of charges.

"Specifically meth possession, marijuana possession, possession of the parad and then the outstanding warrants."

McManus identified the suspect as John Coleman of Sioux Falls.
