There must be something in the water in the Land of Ten Thousand Lakes, as Minnesota has had some of the oldest residents in US history.

Some call this tiny sliver of Minnesota the "loneliest part of the United States"

Minnesota may have over "Ten Thousand Lakes", but it's also the land of "boiling springs". But even some locals have no idea this one-of-a-kind natural wonder even exists.

This list includes four of the oldest cemeteries in the state. However, there is a bit of controversy as to which one takes the top spot.

One view from the outside and you'd never expect Iowa's most legendary sandwich to be made here. But this is a perfect example as to why you should never judge a book by its cover alone.
