Sanford Health Reaches Out To Those In Need

Sanford Health Co-Op is teaming up with the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House in Sioux Falls to offer a free health event!

“Basically what they’re going to do is offer free consultations, do point of care testing for blood sugars,” Chad Campbell of the Sioux Falls facility explained.

“We have social workers, therapists, physical therapists on staff that will participate in the program. It will be a great opportunity for people who maybe struggle with some health needs that are not being met down at the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House.”

Chad says the health co-op will help those in need in Sioux Falls.

“A lot of the individuals that we deal with don’t get the necessary medical care they need, probably because of cost. With this free health event, they can start to address some of their medical concerns. Maybe they are pre-diabetic or they are struggling with high blood pressure; steps can be taken that will stem off future problems.”

The event will be held at the first and third Thursdays each month at the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House.
