The project was slated to take three to four weeks. Consider the delivery date on-time as the Lake Lorraine area gets a right turn lane off Marion Road.

Access was restricted from 32nd Street and Marion Road to the new development around Lake Lorraine. Although traffic could still enter from the south and the north around the west side of the body of water.

With the retail businesses along Marion Road, office space on the west side of the lake and housing on the south side, the need for better traffic flow is apparent. No immediate move toward a traffic signal at the intersection as of yet, but don’t be surprised if one appears in the future.

It's not just around the lake that traffic will see an increase. The newly opened Sioux Falls Ford between the Hy-Vee at 26th and Marion and Lowe's will be another big draw.
