
One Year Later…Sioux Falls Still Searches for Tyler Weathersby
On the morning of September 4th, 2024, at 7:45 AM, a Sioux Falls family and community were forever changed. Beloved Sioux Falls resident Tyler Weathersby went for a walk and hasn't been seen since.
It's been one whole year since Tyler Weathersby went missing, and his disappearance is still affecting Sioux Falls and the surrounding area...especially for Tyler's family.

Here's what we know about Tyler Weathersby since he's been missing
Tyler was last seen wearing a white shirt, black shorts, and a tan beanie on September 4th. He left his home without his wallet and cellphone.
A private investigator group, Legal Eye Investigations, LLC. did release a video that shows Tyler Weathersby standing at the corner of Marion Road and Madison in Sioux Falls. This evidence is a crucial part of this case. It could also lead to mOn the morning of September 4th at 7:45 AM, a Sioux Falls family and community were forever changedore questions than answers.
It shows Tyler Weathersby waiting to cross the street while speaking to a young boy riding a bike. Tyler is also seen approaching one driver of a silver Hyundai Santa Fe in the street.
At this point, Tyler could be anywhere in the Sioux Empire or even out of South Dakota. Here's the most accurate description of what Tyler would look like today:
- "Slim build” at about 6 feet tall and 160 lbs.
- Dark brown eyes, and his head was shaved at the time of his disappearance. Possibly having his hair back and a beard, by now.
- Has a tattoo of a crown with a halo above it on his right wrist
At this time, there are no new updates. However, police are still actively looking for any tips that could lead to Tyler Weathersby.
