A well-known bar and restaurant from Minnesota's past has finally sold after being on the market for over 2 years. This isn't the only restaurant that the former owner has on the market, either.

Psycho Suzi's and Betty Danger's Closed Over 2 Years Ago

The owner of both Psycho Suzi's and Betty Danger's, Leslie Bock, closed up her restaurants and attractions at the end of August 2022. I'm really sad I never made it to either of them before they closed, they seemed like really fun spots.

However, Leslie seemed kind of over the restaurant-owning gig. She told KARE 11 in 2022, "'[Being an owner] is not the life I want anymore'".

The thing that is strange to me, though, is that she decided to sell both locations and the iconic ferris wheel at Betty Danger's, but she won't sell the business itself.

It seems odd because it doesn't sound like she'd be getting back into the business ever so it's not like she'll need the rights to the name. I also feel like it wouldn't take over two years to sell if the rights to the name and everything were included. But who knows what's actually going on behind closed doors.

They both have been on and off the market since 2020 and the latest listing was from August of 2022. But finally one of the locations has sold.

Betty Danger's and the Iconic Ferris Wheel Finally Sell

Betty Danger's has finally sold, including the ferris wheel.

Betty Danger's not only was a cool-looking restaurant and bar but it also had a mini golf course. It looked like such a fun place to be!

It sold for $3.5 million and according to Axios it had originally been listed in 2020 at $5.2 million.

So who bought the spot? The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reports that the buyer is tied to someone named Joe Radaich who runs a restaurant near the University of Minnesota called Como Tap (it used to be Sporty's Pub).

Como Tap, Minneapolis

Como Tap describes itself as "everyone's favorite neighborhood dive bar in SE Como". It's a more casual dining atmosphere with an affordable menu.

I wonder if whatever ends up replacing Betty Danger's will be similar to Como Tap. We'll have to wait and see!

Psycho Suzi's is still for sale.
