Bacon is one of those foods that it's really hard to get wrong—unless you undercook it, then that's on you. Bacon can range from sweet to savory, and endless rubs/glazes can be used to make it even more flavorful. Bacon can also go on just about anything and make it instantly better. Now, one Minnesota bacon maker is taking bacon back to the breakfast table and mixing in some cereal, too. The folks behind the canned meat known as SPAM have unveiled bacon with cereal flavors added to it.

September 16th marks the date when General Mills and Hormel will team up and release their co-branded Black Label Bacon with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. That's right, bacon sprinkled with what they've named cinnadust from the sweet cereal. It sounds pretty good, doesn't it?

The official press release from Hormel and General Mills describes the bacon as:

The limited-edition product delivers a crisp, sugary crust with a delicious balance of cinnamon, sugar, salt, and savory bacon taste. CINNADUST™ seasoning blend is hand-rubbed onto thick-cut bacon and held overnight for optimal flavor.

Hormel is doubling or maybe even tripling down with breakfast combination-inspired bacon, as the press release later states:

Following the announcement of BLACK LABEL® CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH™ Bacon, the makers of HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® Bacon will continue to bring fans the unexpected with more delicious partnerships and limited-time products in 2025 and beyond.

If you end up liking this cereal bacon combo, there seems to be good news.

The product will be available at select Wal-Mart locations starting September 16th, so keep your eyes open, and let us know if you see this around Central Minnesota!
