Augustana Softball Hosts the University of Sioux Falls Tuesday

The Augustana University Vikings (21-10) will host the University of Sioux Falls today with the first pitch at 2:00 PM.
This is the beginning of a six-game home stand for Augustana. The Vikings have won six of eight including a road trip to Minot, North Dakota, that saw AU capture 3-of-4 games.
For the season, Delaney Young leads Augustana in average at .389 while she has recorded 13 doubles and three home runs. Kennedy Buckman leads the team with 11 home runs and 32 RBI while holding a .356 average.
Coming off back-to-back losses, USF currently sits at 14-15 on the season and 5-5 in NSIC play.
Megan Lawson has led USF in batting average this season at .354 while the power of the lineup comes from Kait Van Der Zwaag with her five home runs and 21 RBI. In the circle, Van Der Zwaag is the team’s top pitcher with a 9-5 record and a 4.53 ERA.
The Coo has two double headers following this contest. Saturday with UMary, then Sunday a double-header with Minot State.
