Let’s Get Ready to Shop! Sioux Falls Empire Mall Announces Holiday Hours

The start of the Christmas shopping season officially gets underway this Friday as thousands of merchants from all over the Sioux Empire open their doors with booming bargains galore on Black Friday.

South Dakota's largest shopping complex, The Empire Mall just finished rolling out its Black Friday shopping schedule.

Dakota News Now reports that the Empire Mall will open its doors to Christmas shoppers on Friday (November 29) starting at 6:00 AM.

Holiday shoppers will be able to get their shop on until 9:00 that night.

Word has it, that special holiday deals and discounts will be available at Empire Mall retailers throughout the Thanksgiving Day weekend.

If you're like me and weren't blessed with the "wrapping gene." I happen to be the driver of the gift-wrapping "Struggle Bus", you'll be happy to know that every holiday shopper can have all of their gifts professionally wrapped by the trained elves at the Gift Wrap Booth in the Macy's Wing of the Empire Mall.

Save yourself a little time, and a whole lot of hassle by having all of your gifts wrapped for a cash donation that will benefit the Children’s Home Shelter for Family Safety.

The Empire Mall Gift Wrap Booth opens on Black Friday and will remain open every day during mall hours through Christmas Eve.

And while you're at the mall this Christmas season, don't forget to bring out the kiddos to meet Santa in the center court main entrance near Sephora.

Jolly Old Saint Nick will be available to hear Christmas wishes and take pictures most nights until 7:00 PM.
