Sioux Falls Humane Society Offering Microchipping Clinic
The Fourth of July is coming up quickly and as humans, we love everything about it, the food, the pageantry, and the fireworks. Your pets, on the other hand, are not big fans of the crackles, pops, and booms.
Almost one in five pets goes missing after being scared by fireworks. That is why it is a good idea to have your pets microchipped. Should they ever get lost the hard process of finding them could be a bit easier.
According to Dakota News Now, the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society is offering you the chance to micro-chip your pets this Thursday, June 20. They are having a microchipping clinic from 4 to 6 PM, but they encourage people to start lining up at 3:45 PM.
You can enter the clinic from Bahnson Avenue from North 60th Street with parking along Bahnson and possible backup parking in the National Guard parking lot.
The first 50 chips are sponsored by Andrew Holzbaugh from Hegg Realty and after that, the microchips are only $20.
This is a great way to add more safety to your pet's life. For more information you can see the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society online, on Facebook, or call 605-338-4441.
