A freight train rammed into a truck carrying a military tank in South Carolina, and the whole thing was caught on camera by eyewitnesses.

There's an old saying that you can't stop the train, and this footage illustrates how true that is. Once a train is moving at it's full-speed, it can sometimes take miles for the thing to come to a complete stop.

That is why we sometimes see some pretty horrific accidents at train crossings, and why it is highly encouraged for you not to try to beat the gates and the train at a crossing.

Luckily, local news reports that no one was injured in this incident. Keep reading to see the video and find out what is currently known.

Train Collides With Military Tank Being Hauled on Semi, Caught on Camera

At a train crossing in South Carolina, Jennifer Clinton and her son captured the crash on video while they were in their own vehicle.

In the beginning of the video, you can see the semi with the military tank on the back stuck at the crossing of the railroad tracks. This sight on it's own is a case for panic, even when there's no train audibly coming.

All of a sudden, you can hear a train horn blast getting closer and closer.

That is when the unthinkable happened — the train comes barreling through the intersection and blasts through the military tank and the semi that is hauling it.

As you can imagine, the road and surrounding area were shut down for some time, according to Fox News, as the cleanup process began.

The news report also indicates that the driver was able to exit the semi in ample time, and there were no injuries reported.
